A few years ago, we heard from a number of people that in order to generate quality work for a reasonably sustained period, thesis candidates, researchers, report writers and even busy executives need to escape from the distractions of their home and/or work settings.  For that reason, we decided to make the Woodhill Park Research Retreat available to writers and people needing a quiet space within which they could progress their work effectively. 

Since we bagan this service, we've experienced a rewarding uptake of this opportunity and a key feature of these occasions has become the informal but helpful conversations which occurr during shared lunches.  Basically it's very easy to book space: 

Phone Jens Hansen (09 411 7703) to book a Writing Space.  For a small charge (see below) we can let you have access to a quiet space where you can work quietly at your pace on pressing thesis work, dissertations, assignments or reports.   Here's what you get:

• No phones, interruptions and other disturbances;
• Free parking;
• Rural outlook and quiet peaceful environment;
• Coffee or tea on arrival and morning and afternoon tea;
• Shared lunch with other writers (remember to contribute to this);
• Separately booked guidance sessions which enable you to tap into the expertise and experience Dr. Jens J. Hansen has accumulated over time.

• Not available for government departments or corporate use at this concession rate (corporate researchers, please phone Jens to negotiate a space if you're interested);
• This is not a service that can be used by ‘sessional students’ because they have different arrangements;
• Available weekdays only from 9.00 a.m. to 4.30.pm. and may be subject to postponement if we have a conference happening at Woodhill Park;
