As well as being an excellent cook, Jenny Hansen is the hospitality and administration manager of the Woodhill Park Retreat.  She has set the high hospitality standards that have become a hallmark of the Woodhill Park Retreat and her love of gardening can be seen in the wide range of flora that have been planted throughout the Woodhill Park Property. 

Jenny has an extensive background in teaching having taught pre-schoolers as well as primary, secondary and tertiary students. She has worked as an adult literacy co-ordinator and has more than twenty years of experience in the broad domain of helping learners with special needs. Jenny is also a trained teacher of English as a second language and has worked with migrant and refugee families.  Currently, she is also the Co-ordinator of a South Auckland HIPPY Programme (Home Interaction Programme for Parents and Youngsters).
