Good news might travel more slowly and circuitously than bad news but 'the word' certainly gets around when good things happen. For instance, word about our recent workshop for thesis candidates obviously got around because we've been asked to run a second workshop. And so, we will...
The workshop will be held at the Woodhill Park Research Retreat on Saturday April 17th and once again, we invite thesis candidates to bring their supervisor along at no cost to the supervisor. Our reasoning is that because you'll both be contributing to the success of your thesis, you may as well begin your journey together. (But we need to know if your supervisor will take part in this workshop so that we can cater for them.)
We've just today invited Simon Hertnon to pop into the workshop. Simon now teaches writing at the Victoria University of Wellington and he is perhaps best known as the author of a brilliant book on how to write successfully. His book is called "Clear> Concise> Compelling. How to write less and achieve more" and it has been very well received in the UK and the US.
For details about the day, click here. To register your interest, please phone Dr Jens Hansen (+64 9 411 7703) or email him at jhansen@woodhillpark.com By the way, please tell others about this workshop. We're unashamedly into viral marketing when the service or product is well intentioned and benevolent. That means we'd like you to tell others and ask them to tell others too. But remember, we're only accepting ten registrations - plus your supervisor if you can persuade yours to come!
